Senior Program Manager

Responsibilities: As the Senior Program Manager, Breck provides day-to-day guidance and direction for SchoolAccess. He works closely with GCI’s Technical Services, Product Development, Sales (Solutions) Engineering, and the Sales Manager to ensure quality project implementation and high-touch for SchoolAccess customers. Breck also assist the Director in maintaining strategic relationships with school district technology staff, business managers and school leadership; coordinating all of the SchoolAccess program’s communications, from proposal to project completion and hand-off to project and operations team. Breck also actively participates in customer calls and processes to produce results.

Experience: Breck has over twenty years of professional experience in Internet & Information & Communications Technology (ITC) project management, operations, training, and business development. Breck started his ITC career as one of the first Internet consultants, focused on Online Newspapers in the mid-1990’s before joining Lucent Technologies as a Sr. Technology Training. Breck has held progressively senior roles for companies and clients in North America and Globally. Recent assignments included working with government clients in Rwanda and Ethiopia deploying national broadband networks with associated transformative applications for education and healthcare. Prior to Breck’s ITC career he was an ESL Teacher.

Education and Certification: B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado-Denver. Currently completing graduate studies towards an MBA-IT from Western Governors University, and completed 36 hours of graduate studies towards an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Candidate (MS.-ITC) from the University of Colorado, Boulder before the program was discontinued. Breck is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is currently a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
